The Bigger Picture

Have you ever looked at a small portion of a painting and thought it looked stupid?

I can’t say I have, really. But I have when it comes to looking at life as a painting. You see, when I keep looking at a tiny speck of my life, it’s blurry, confusing, and overall pointless. Part of me wants to erase it and move on. But then I remember to take a step back and look at the whole thing. The whole picture. The bigger picture.

Now it has a purpose, all those little specks. All the details and the routines; they all add to the beautiful piece of artwork called life.
